Feminism is not a society in which male patriarchy is the norm.
I still have a lot of learning to do, but I have noticed that there are global context to issues that I have thought to be “American” problems. I haven’t been able to dive into Indian politics, so I can’t really say too much about it, but I’m still a child when it comes to this and I’m still growing and trying to figure it out.
Perhaps it takes creative thinking, more than pills, to win the war against boredom. Creative problem solving only requires teachers to step back and ask, “Is there a better way of doing this?” Or maybe a more empathetic approach, which means asking ourselves, “How did I feel the last time I was bored?”
I was so exhausted with marching and my spirit was so full that I had no interest in partying after the parade. Not partying during pride was a first for me, but I imagine that since my purpose had changed, so did I.
